Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis Assures Thorough Investigation in Pune Rape Case, Speaks on Neelam Shinde’s US Accident

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis addressed two major incidents, assuring a thorough investigation into the Pune rape case and extending support to the family of Indian student Neelam Shinde, who met with an accident in the US.

Speaking on the Pune rape case, Fadnavis confirmed that the accused has been arrested and the investigation is ongoing. “The accused has been arrested, and he will be investigated. The true story will come before everyone. The Police Commissioner has presented some facts; other facts will come out soon. Forensic investigation results are before us, and the details will be out soon,” he stated. The case has sparked widespread concern, with authorities promising swift justice.

On the tragic accident involving Indian student Neelam Shinde in the United States, the CM emphasized the government’s commitment to assisting her family. “In such a situation, it’s our responsibility to come out and help. I thank the American Consulate and the Consul General for understanding the situation and issuing visas to Neelam’s family so that they can travel there to take care of Neelam,” Fadnavis said.

The Maharashtra government’s proactive approach reflects its commitment to ensuring justice and support for affected citizens, both within the state and abroad.
