Maharashtra Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha Launches Deep Clean Drive at Girgaon Chowpatty

Date:

Maharashtra Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha announced the launch of a deep clean drive at Girgaon Chowpatty as part of the Swachh Maharashtra Abhiyan, drawing a parallel to Prime Minister Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan initiated in 2014. Lodha stated that the drive aims to enhance cleanliness and will continue until October 2nd, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti.

“This initiative mirrors the dedication shown in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and reflects Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s commitment to improving cleanliness across the state,” Lodha said. He emphasized the importance of public participation in maintaining hygiene and sanitation, urging citizens to contribute to the effort.

In addition to the cleanliness initiative, Lodha also voiced strong support for the One Nation One Election proposal, highlighting its potential benefits for the country. “Implementing this system will save a lot of money and time, making the electoral process more efficient,” he noted. He called for the swift implementation of this proposal to enhance the governance framework in India.

The deep clean drive and Lodha’s remarks on electoral reform reflect the Maharashtra government’s focus on cleanliness and efficient governance, reinforcing a commitment to public welfare and administrative efficiency in the state.
