Maharashtra’s Chief Minister-designate, Devendra Fadnavis, has sought to downplay the significance of political titles, calling the roles of Chief Minister (CM) and Deputy Chief Minister (DCM) “just technical posts.” His comments, made ahead of his swearing-in ceremony on December 5th, reflect his focus on governance over personal positions.
“The posts of CM and DCM are just technical posts. We all will work together for Maharashtra,” Fadnavis stated, emphasizing that the primary goal of his government is to serve the people of Maharashtra and ensure the state’s development.
