In a major push to strengthen cybersecurity awareness in India, the Centre for Development of Telematics has partnered with Jumps Automation LLP to develop an innovative gamification-based learning platform.
The collaboration, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding under the C-DOT Collaborative Research Programme (CCRP), aims to transform traditional cybersecurity training into an engaging, interactive experience for individuals and organisations.
According to officials, the platform will incorporate features such as a gaming arena, leaderboards, learning management systems, and discussion forums. It will also include simulation-based scenarios covering real-world threats like phishing, social engineering, malware attacks, and crisis response.
The initiative is designed to address a critical gap in cybersecurity—user awareness and behaviour. By using gamification techniques, the platform aims to make learning more engaging while improving users’ ability to detect and respond to cyber threats effectively.
A key highlight of the solution is the integration of an AI-driven behavioural analytics engine, which will continuously assess user performance, adjust difficulty levels dynamically, and update training content in line with emerging cyber risks.
The platform will be built by combining Jumps Automation’s expertise in artificial intelligence and automation with C-DOT’s indigenous telecom and security technologies. It is expected to be deployed as a commercial-grade Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution with potential for enterprise integration.
Officials said the initiative marks a significant step toward building a cyber-resilient ecosystem in India, while also supporting the vision of self-reliance in technology. The platform is expected to help users identify cyber threats, improve incident response, and adopt global best practices in cybersecurity.
The move comes amid rising cyber threats globally, highlighting the need for innovative approaches like gamification to enhance awareness, preparedness, and digital safety across sectors.
