Zeeshan Siddique’s Removal Sparks Controversy: BJP Leader Shehzad Poonawalla Criticizes Congress

Date:

The recent removal of Zeeshan Siddique as the president of the Mumbai Youth Congress has sparked a political firestorm, with BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla launching a scathing attack on the Congress party.

“Today Zeeshan Siddiqui has spilled out the beans which was told by me six-seven years ago that Congress is the most anti-Muslim party,” Poonawalla said in a statement. He accused the Congress of projecting a false image of support for minorities for the sake of vote bank politics and appeasement.

“But actually, it has done the most damage to minorities,” Poonawalla continued, alleging that the Congress party has allowed “riot after riot to be orchestrated.”

The BJP leader’s comments have added fuel to the ongoing controversy surrounding Siddique’s removal. The Congress party has yet to respond to Poonawalla’s allegations.

This incident has once again brought the issue of minority representation and protection in Indian politics to the forefront, raising questions about the Congress party’s commitment to these issues.

As the political drama unfolds, the nation watches closely, waiting for the next move in this high-stakes game of power and representation.
