BJP MLA Rajendra Patni Passes Away at 59, A Major Blow to BJP in Washim

Washim, Maharashtra – The political circles of Maharashtra are in mourning following the demise of BJP MLA Rajendra Patni from the Karanja assembly constituency of Washim district. This comes shortly after the passing of former Maharashtra Chief Minister and senior Shiv Sena leader Manohar Joshi.

Patni, a prominent figure in the Vidarbha region, had been battling illness for several months. He was undergoing treatment in Mumbai. However, he succumbed to a heart attack today at around 8:30 am, at the age of 59.

Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who considered Patni a confidant, has paid tribute to the late leader. “Rajendra Patni was not just a colleague but a dear friend. His demise is a personal loss to me and a major blow to our party in Washim,” Fadnavis said.

Patni’s death has left a significant void in the BJP’s leadership in the region, and the party will undoubtedly feel his absence in the times to come. His contributions to his constituency and the party will be remembered fondly.

The BJP and the entire political fraternity extend their condolences to Patni’s family in this time of grief. As the news of his passing spreads, tributes are pouring in from all quarters, reflecting the respect and admiration he commanded in his political career.
