Mumbai – In a stirring evening of storytelling, empowerment, and emotion, The Protagonist Show premiered alongside the launch of the book Sheroes Amongst Us – Real Women Real Stories at an exclusive event on June 21. Held in Mumbai, the event was powered by Etherwire.ai, a Multiplaylist Platform, and F13 Happenings.
Co-authored by Falguni Desai and Dr. Amit Nagpal, the book highlights real-life stories of women who transformed adversity into strength, inspiring audiences to recognize the hero within. These stories were brought to life through The Protagonist Show, an innovative family entertainer that merges literature with live-action narrative.
Jyoti Rai, Founder of Etherwire.ai and one of the featured Sheroes, shared, “We created a tribute that reimagines books as mainstream, heart-touching entertainment. It’s a new way to honour authors and inspire families.”
The evening resonated with students, professionals, and families. Emotional reflections poured in from speakers including Col. S.S. Chandhoke, Vaisshali Babu, and Ranjana Maitra, who praised the show’s heartfelt message.
Filmmaker Shashie Verma, whose studio Sceneworks collaborated on the project, added, “This is just the beginning of telling a million untold stories.”
Protagonists Dr. Shilpi Thapar, Rajani Tiwari, and Roma Balwani echoed the sentiment: “This wasn’t just a celebration—it was a mirror, a movement, and a memory.”
