PM Modi Felicitates New BJP President, Warns Against Dynasty Politics

Date:

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday felicitated the newly appointed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president at the party headquarters in Delhi, underlining the organisation’s ideological commitment to internal democracy and merit-based leadership.

Addressing party leaders and workers, the Prime Minister issued a strong caution against dynasty politics, describing it as a serious threat to democratic values. He said dynastic control within political parties weakens institutions, limits opportunities for grassroots workers, and erodes public trust in the political system.

Reiterating the BJP’s core philosophy, PM Modi said the party remains committed to nurturing first-generation political leadership and providing opportunities to those who rise through dedication, service, and hard work rather than family lineage. He emphasised that the BJP’s strength lies in its cadre-based structure and constant engagement with the people.

The Prime Minister also stressed the importance of regular internal review and accountability, stating that public service must remain at the centre of political activity. He called on party functionaries to uphold transparency, discipline, and responsiveness while working for the welfare of citizens.

Congratulating the new BJP president, PM Modi expressed confidence that the party would continue to strengthen its organisational framework and uphold democratic values while serving the nation with a sense of responsibility and commitment.
