Eknath Shinde Hails Army’s Success in Operations Sindoor and Mahadev, Lauds PM Modi’s Leadership

Date:

Mumbai: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Friday praised the Indian Army for the successful execution of Operation Sindoor and Operation Mahadev, asserting that the armed forces have delivered a “befitting reply” to those who sought to disturb peace in the country.

Shinde highlighted the recent developments in Pahalgam, where he said the Army’s actions had thwarted attempts to “erase the sindoor of our sisters.” He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, crediting him for standing firmly behind the armed forces and ensuring strong national security measures.

“So far, no one has dared to give such a befitting reply to Pakistan. That is why Munir is threatening us,” Shinde remarked, in reference to Pakistan’s reactions to India’s recent countermeasures. He dismissed such threats outright, underscoring India’s resolve and military preparedness.

In a striking comment, Shinde emphasized PM Modi’s decisive leadership, saying, “If someone wears the skin of a lion, he does not become a lion; there is only one lion, and that is Narendra Modi.”

The Deputy Chief Minister’s statement comes amid heightened political and public discourse surrounding India’s counter-terror operations and defense strategies. Leaders across the political spectrum have acknowledged the significance of Operation Sindoor and Operation Mahadev, which are being viewed as examples of India’s evolving defense response.

By reiterating unwavering support for the Army and PM Modi’s leadership, Shinde sought to project confidence in India’s ability to safeguard its citizens and deliver strong responses to external threats.
