BIPL Aims to Strengthen Bhojpuri Film Industry and Promote Fitness: Manoj Tiwari

BJP MP and Bhojpuri actor Manoj Tiwari on Monday said that the Bhojpuri Industry Premier League (BIPL) is more than a sporting event, describing it as a platform to foster unity, growth, and well-being within the Bhojpuri film industry.

Speaking on the sidelines of the league, Tiwari said the BIPL represents a “family” of actors, producers, technicians, and other professionals associated with the Bhojpuri industry. He emphasised that the objective is to ensure sustained work opportunities and fair recognition for everyone involved in the sector. “We want our industry to flourish and prosper, and for all its contributors to receive their due,” he said.

Highlighting the scale and contribution of the Bhojpuri film industry, Tiwari noted that despite the language not being included in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution, the industry produces a large number of films and provides employment to thousands of people. He stressed the importance of fair wages and dignified working conditions for technicians and crew members, adding that they deserve a full day’s pay for their work.

Tiwari also said that the BIPL serves as a means to encourage fitness and camaraderie among industry members. By bringing together film personalities in a sporting environment, the league promotes physical well-being while strengthening professional bonds.

The Bhojpuri Industry Premier League has gained popularity as a blend of sports and entertainment, drawing attention from fans of both cricket and regional cinema. Organisers say the initiative reflects a collective effort to showcase the cultural and economic significance of the Bhojpuri industry within the broader landscape of Indian cinema.BJP MP and Bhojpuri actor Manoj Tiwari on Monday said that the Bhojpuri Industry Premier League (BIPL) is more than a sporting event, describing it as a platform to foster unity, growth, and well-being within the Bhojpuri film industry.
