Haryana: Haryana has delivered an exceptional academic performance in the 2026 ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) examinations, with students achieving near-perfect results and reinforcing the state’s growing reputation for educational excellence. The results, declared by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), highlight both consistency and improvement across schools in the region.
According to official data, Haryana recorded an impressive 99.8% pass percentage in ICSE (Class 10), marking a slight improvement over the previous year. Even more notably, the state achieved a 100% pass rate in ISC (Class 12), with every student who appeared for the examination successfully clearing it.
The results reflect strong participation from across the state. A total of 2,554 students from 29 schools appeared for the ICSE exams, while 1,068 students from 14 schools took the ISC exams, all of whom passed. The achievement has been widely celebrated by students, parents, and educators, particularly in Gurgaon, where schools reported outstanding performances.
Gender-wise performance remained consistent with national trends, as girls slightly outperformed boys. In ICSE, girls achieved a pass percentage of 99.9%, while boys closely followed at 99.8%, indicating minimal disparity and overall academic consistency.
Among individual achievements, several students secured top scores, including instances of perfect 100% marks, underscoring the high level of academic preparation and discipline among candidates. Schools across Gurgaon were seen celebrating the results, with teachers attributing the success to structured learning approaches, continuous assessment, and strong student-teacher collaboration.
The state’s performance aligns with the broader national trend, where ICSE and ISC results have consistently recorded pass percentages above 99%. Experts note that such high success rates reflect both improved evaluation systems and sustained academic efforts by students across the country.
Educationists in Haryana have highlighted that the results are not merely a reflection of academic scores but also of evolving educational practices. Many schools have adopted holistic learning models, digital integration, and skill-based education, which have contributed to improved student outcomes.
The strong results are particularly significant in the context of increasing academic competition and evolving career aspirations among students. With many top performers aiming for careers in engineering, medicine, commerce, and emerging interdisciplinary fields, the results are expected to play a crucial role in shaping higher education pathways.
Officials from the education sector also pointed out that the availability of digital platforms such as DigiLocker and official CISCE portals has made result access smoother and more transparent for students and parents.
While the results have been a cause for celebration, experts caution against equating academic performance solely with success. They emphasise the importance of skill development, critical thinking, and mental well-being, especially in a high-pressure academic environment.
The Haryana government and school authorities have lauded the achievements, stating that such performances reinforce the state’s commitment to quality education and academic excellence. Many institutions are now planning to further strengthen teaching methodologies and student support systems to maintain this upward trajectory.
With consistent near-perfect results, 100% pass rates in Class 12, and outstanding individual performances, Haryana has once again positioned itself among the top-performing regions in the country’s school education landscape.
As students celebrate their achievements, the focus now shifts to future academic pursuits, with many preparing for competitive exams and higher education opportunities in India and abroad—marking the next chapter in their academic journey.
