Maharashtra CM Directs Action Against Illegal Pubs and Drug Peddlers in Pune

In a recent development, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has taken decisive steps to address two pressing issues in Pune. The CM spoke directly to the Commissioner of Police (CP) in Pune, instructing him to take strict action against illegal pubs and dismantle any structures that violate building regulations.

Furthermore, CM Shinde has directed the police to intensify their efforts against drug peddlers in the city. His goal is to make Pune a drug-free city by initiating renewed action against those involved in drug trafficking.

These measures come as part of the state government’s commitment to maintaining law and order and ensuring the safety and well-being of Pune’s residents. The CP and local authorities are expected to implement these directives promptly.
