Infiltration Concerns Voiced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Jhargram, West Bengal

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a public meeting held in Jhargram, West Bengal, raised serious concerns about the alleged support of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and Congress for infiltrators.

Modi claimed that the TMC is inviting infiltrators and settling them in the region. He expressed his worry over the declining population of native Bengalis in border areas, attributing this to the influx of infiltrators who are allegedly occupying the lands of Dalits, backward, and tribal communities.

The Prime Minister did not mince words when he accused the TMC and Congress of backing these infiltrators. “TMC-Congress together want to make the occupation of infiltrators legal,” he stated, sparking a wave of discussions and debates.

The issue of infiltration has long been a bone of contention in West Bengal, with political parties often at loggerheads over the best strategy to address it. The recent comments by the Prime Minister are expected to intensify this ongoing debate.

As the political dynamics continue to shift, the people of West Bengal and the nation at large will be keenly observing how this situation progresses.
