Indian Railways Enhances Passenger Convenience with Increased Stoppage and Special Trains

Date:

In a move aimed at enhancing passenger convenience, the Indian Railways has announced an increase in the stoppages of the Dadar-Tirunelveli Express and the Dadar-Puducherry Express. This decision is expected to provide significant relief to passengers who frequently travel on these routes.

To further ease the travel experience for its passengers and manage the extra rush, the Indian Railways has also increased the service of special trains between Bhusaval-Mumbai Central and Pune-Indore. The train number 09051 Mumbai Central-Bhusaval Tri-Weekly Special will now run until 30 April 2024, and the 09052 Bhusaval-Mumbai Central Special has been extended to run until 1 May 2024.

Simultaneously, the 09324 Indore-Pune weekly special will now be operational until 24 April 2024, and the 09323 Pune-Indore weekly special will run until 25 April 2024. It is important to note that there has been no change in the timing, structure, and stoppage of these trains. The booking of tickets for these trains has already commenced.

In another significant development, Train No. 11005 Dadar-Puducherry Express will be diverted from 24 June 2024 and Train No. 11006 Puducherry-Dadar Express from 25 June 2024 via Chikkabanwar-Yesvantpur Bypass-Lottegollahalli-Bangarapet. Consequently, these trains will also have stops at Chikkabanwar, SMVT Bengaluru, and Whitefield.

Similarly, the 11021 Dadar-Tirunelveli Express will be diverted from 25 June 2024 and the 11022 Tirunelveli-Dadar Express from 27 June 2024 via Chikkabanwar-Yesvantpur Bypass-Lottegollahalli-Bayyappanahalli. As a result, their stoppage will also be at Chikkabanwar and SMVT Bengaluru.

These changes are a testament to the Indian Railways’ commitment to improving passenger convenience and enhancing the overall travel experience. Passengers are advised to take note of these changes and plan their journeys accordingly.
