PM Modi’s Take on Ram Temple: No Longer a Political Weapon

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently made a significant statement on the Ram Temple issue. He asserted that for the opposition, the Ram Temple was a political weapon. However, now that it has been built, the issue has lost its political significance.

“For them (opposition), it was a political weapon. Now it has been built, so the issue has gone out of their hands,” said PM Modi.

The Ram Temple, located in Ayodhya, has been a contentious issue in Indian politics for several decades. The temple’s construction has been at the center of numerous political debates, court cases, and even communal tensions. However, with the temple’s construction now complete, the dynamics surrounding this issue have changed significantly.

According to PM Modi, the opposition parties used the Ram Temple issue as a political weapon to garner support and stir emotions among the masses. However, with the temple now built, the issue no longer holds the same political leverage.

The Prime Minister’s statement suggests a shift in the political landscape surrounding the Ram Temple. It implies that the opposition parties may need to rethink their strategies and find new issues to focus on.

As India continues to grapple with the interplay of religion and politics, PM Modi’s statement adds a new dimension to the discourse. It remains to be seen how the completion of the Ram Temple will impact the political narratives and strategies in the coming days. However, the Prime Minister’s candid acknowledgment of the issue’s political implications certainly makes it a topic worth watching.
