PM Modi Accuses Congress of Terrorism Nexus, Sparks Political Firestorm

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing a public rally in Pune, Maharashtra, launched a blistering attack on the Congress and its allies, alleging their involvement in a deep-rooted conspiracy during their tenure in power.

Modi’s scathing remarks targeted the Congress-INDI alliance, accusing them of fostering terrorism in the country through their policy of appeasement. He asserted that the Congress, in pursuit of appeasement politics, had propagated the notion of ‘saffron terrorism,’ unfairly maligning innocent Hindus.

“The Congress was quick to pin the blame for the 26/11 Mumbai attacks on the sacred saffron,” Modi proclaimed, condemning the wrongful incarceration and harassment of innocent Hindus under this pretext.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister accused the Congress of providing support to Yasin Bhatkal, a convicted terrorist, and obstructing the execution of Yakub Memon, another convicted terrorist. “They are the ones who rush to defend Yasin Bhatkal upon his arrest. They are the ones who orchestrate midnight court sessions to halt the execution of terrorist Yakub Memon,” Modi asserted.

Modi’s allegations have ignited a fierce political debate, with the Congress and its allies expected to mount a robust defense. The contentious issues of ‘saffron terrorism’ and the treatment of Hindus under previous administrations are poised to dominate the political discourse in the days ahead.

As the political temperature rises, both sides are gearing up for a heated exchange, underscoring the sensitivity and gravity of the allegations leveled by the Prime Minister. The ensuing political battle is likely to shape the narrative leading up to the upcoming elections, as parties vie to sway public opinion in their favor.
