While en route to Mumbai from his residence in Thane, CM Shinde spotted a tanker accident that had resulted in an oil spill on the road between Mulund and Bhandup. Recognizing the potential hazard, the Chief Minister immediately stopped his convoy to ensure the safety of the commuters.

CM Shinde stayed at the location, overseeing the situation until it was secured. His prompt action helped prevent any mishaps that could have occurred due to vehicles skidding on the oil spill.
