Mumbai, the financial capital of India, witnessed a significant event as the city participated in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. Among the voters was BJP leader Shaina NC, who cast her vote and shared her thoughts on the importance of voting.
“The message to Mumbaikars is think, vote. Because only if you vote can you criticize the system. Only if you vote can you question,” said Shaina NC, emphasizing the power and responsibility that comes with casting a vote.
She further stressed the need for Mumbai to have the right representatives in parliament, given its status as the financial capital of the country. “It’s extremely imperative that we have the right representatives in parliament,” she added.
Shaina NC also praised the work of Prime Minister Modi and his vision for a Viksit Bharat. “You have seen the kind of work that Prime Minister Modi has done and his vision for a Viksit Bharat is a reality,” she said.
Interestingly, she noted that this is probably the first time that Mumbai has witnessed no anti-incumbency, only pro-incumbency. She attributed this to what she referred to as the “Modi magic.”
