Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde Assures Support to Rainfall and Flood-Affected People in Raigad District

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has taken proactive steps to assist the people affected by heavy rainfall and flooding in Raigad district. CM Shinde personally spoke to the Raigad Collector, directing him to ensure all necessary assistance is provided to those impacted by the adverse weather conditions.

In a statement addressing the urgent situation, CM Eknath Shinde emphasized the state government’s commitment to alleviating the hardships faced by residents in Raigad. “I have spoken to the Raigad Collector and instructed him to offer all possible aid to the people affected by rainfall and floods,” CM Shinde affirmed, underscoring the importance of swift and effective response measures.

The directive from CM Shinde comes amid reports of widespread inundation and disruptions caused by heavy rains across Maharashtra, particularly in Raigad district. The Chief Minister assured the Raigad Collector of full support from the state government to facilitate relief and rehabilitation efforts for affected individuals and families.
