Reacting to Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav’s statement on Maha Kumbh 2025, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi strongly criticized Yadav, calling his remarks “silly” and an attempt to divide society.”
Joshi defended the arrangements made for the grand religious event, stating, “The arrangements there are very good. I also went there and saw that everything was well-organized.”
Hitting out at Yadav, Joshi accused him of playing politics and deliberately making negative statements about Hindu faith and traditions. He further added, “They have this habit of saying negative things about Hindu faith just for the sake of politics.”
Maha Kumbh 2025, set to take place in Prayagraj, is expected to be one of the largest religious gatherings in the world, with extensive infrastructure, security, and pilgrimage arrangements being made by the government.
