Maharashtra Minister Nitesh Rane Blames Abu Azmi for Nagpur Violence, Vows Strict Action

Date:

Mumbai – In the wake of the recent violent incident in Nagpur, Maharashtra Minister Nitesh Rane has accused senior politician Abu Azmi of being responsible for the unrest. Rane’s statement came as tensions continued to rise over the incident, which saw clashes between protestors and police.

Speaking to reporters, Rane alleged that the violence in Nagpur was premeditated, aimed at defaming the state government. “Abu Azmi is responsible for this. He started this issue,” Rane said, holding the prominent politician accountable for fueling the unrest. The incident, which occurred during a protest, led to confrontations with law enforcement, sparking concerns over public safety and law and order in the region.

The Maharashtra Minister further emphasized that the state government would take a hard stance on the issue. “This was a preplanned act of violence,” Rane continued. “We will not spare those who raise their hands on our police personnel. Strict action will be taken in this matter.”

The incident in Nagpur involved protests that escalated into violent clashes, resulting in injuries to several police officers and damage to public property. While the exact motivations behind the protest remain under investigation, the violence has drawn widespread attention, particularly for its impact on local law enforcement.

The sharp rhetoric from Nitesh Rane highlights the high political stakes involved in the matter, with accusations flying between various political factions. Abu Azmi, a leader from the Samajwadi Party, has yet to respond publicly to Rane’s accusations.

As investigations continue, local authorities have vowed to ensure that justice is served, with additional security measures being deployed across Nagpur to maintain order and prevent further violence.

The case has now become a focal point in Maharashtra’s ongoing political landscape, with questions being raised about the role of political leaders in inciting unrest. Rane’s warning of strict action has made it clear that the state government intends to hold all parties responsible for the violence accountable.

As the situation develops, all eyes will be on the government’s next steps in addressing the fallout from the Nagpur incident and managing the growing tension in the state.
