PM Modi Highlights Mudra Yojana’s Impact at Rising Bharat Summit, Celebrates 10 Years of Transforming Grassroots Economy

New Delhi — Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Rising Bharat Summit, marking a decade of the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY), and showcased its role in fueling inclusive economic growth and grassroots transformation across the country.

Celebrating 10 years of the flagship initiative, the Prime Minister announced that over 52 crore collateral-free loans have been disbursed under the scheme, empowering 11 crore first-time entrepreneurs, many from marginalized and rural communities.

He highlighted that loans amounting to ₹33 lakh crore have played a pivotal role in building a self-reliant India by unlocking the potential of small businesses and micro-enterprises. “The Mudra Yojana has not only encouraged entrepreneurship but has also linked India’s growth story to the aspirations of its people,” he said.

PM Modi also pointed to the transformation of backward districts into aspirational hubs, underscoring the government’s commitment to inclusive and sustainable development. He credited local enterprise and focused governance for driving economic revival at the grassroots, ensuring no region is left behind in India’s growth journey.
