Mumbai | Reacting to the extradition of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack accused Tahawwur Rana, BJP MLA Ram Kadam hailed it as a proud and emotional moment for the entire nation. He credited the success to the strong diplomatic efforts under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Kadam stated, “It is a proud moment for each and every citizen of this country and it’s a great diplomatic win under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi. If there is a political will, then everything is possible, and because of that, we are able to bring him back.”
He further questioned the previous government’s failure to act, asking, “Why did the Congress government not bring him back?” Kadam emphasized that this move marks a significant step towards delivering justice to the families who lost their loved ones in the 2008 Mumbai attacks, which left over 170 people dead and hundreds injured.
Calling the extradition a symbol of India’s strengthened resolve against terrorism, Kadam reiterated that the Modi government remains committed to ensuring accountability and justice for all victims of terror.
