Union Minister Piyush Goyal at Rozgar Mela and Supreme Court Remarks on Rahul Gandhi

Union Minister Piyush Goyal addressed the 15th Rozgar Mela in Mumbai, highlighting the government’s commitment to creating employment opportunities for the youth. He emphasized that India is on the path to becoming the third-largest economy globally under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Over 51,000 youth were provided opportunities at this event, with Goyal expressing confidence that they would contribute to public service and welfare.

Goyal further mentioned the growing employment opportunities in both the private sector and the field of self-employment. He acknowledged the enthusiasm surrounding startups and innovation among young Indians, pointing to the establishment of skill development and job centers in Kandivali that have helped over 12,400 individuals find jobs. The minister also noted the strong turnout at the center, with over 2,500 people applying for 5,000 available vacancies.

Additionally, Goyal responded to the Supreme Court’s reprimand of Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi regarding his remarks on Veer Savarkar. He said that the public had already rebuked Gandhi for his actions, pointing to his electoral losses. Goyal reiterated the pride of the people of Maharashtra in the valor of Veer Savarkar and noted the public’s rejection of the Congress, NCP, and Shiv Sena (UBT) for such statements in the previous elections.
