Former NCP-SCP Leaders Join Shiv Sena in Presence of Eknath Shinde

Date:

Mumbai: Former corporator Pramila Mukund Keni and NCP-SCP youth leader Mandar Mukund Keni have officially joined the Shiv Sena. The induction took place in the presence of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde.

This development is seen as a boost for the Shiv Sena in Mumbai ahead of upcoming political activities, as the Keni family holds influence in local civic politics. Speaking at the event, Eknath Shinde welcomed the leaders into the party and expressed confidence that their addition will strengthen the Shiv Sena at the grassroots level.

Party sources suggest that this move is part of a broader strategy by the Shinde-led Shiv Sena to expand its base by attracting influential local leaders from rival parties. The shift also reflects the growing political realignment within Maharashtra.

Pramila Keni, known for her social work and strong community ties, is expected to play a key role in civic outreach, while Mandar Keni is likely to be active in youth mobilisation efforts.
