Date:

New Delhi – Colonel Sofiya Qureshi provided an update on the recent military response following Pakistan’s deliberate targeting of Indian air bases. She confirmed that the Indian armed forces swiftly executed a well-planned retaliatory action aimed at key military infrastructure in Pakistan.

The Indian air strikes were strategically focused on critical sites, including technical installations, command and control centres, radar sites, and arms storage facilities. Colonel Qureshi revealed that Pakistan’s military bases at Rafiqui, Murid, Chaklala, Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur, and Chunian were specifically targeted using air-launched precision ammunition and fighter jets. Additionally, radar installations in Pasrur and an aviation base in Sialkot were also struck with precision.

In her statement, Colonel Qureshi stressed the importance of minimizing collateral damage. “While executing these airstrikes, India ensured that civilian infrastructure and non-combatant areas were spared, focusing solely on military targets,” she said, emphasizing the precision and professionalism of the Indian forces in the operation.

The swift action underscores India’s firm stance on national security and its determination to retaliate against hostile activities while maintaining a commitment to minimizing harm to civilian life. The operation also highlights the advanced capabilities of the Indian armed forces, who continue to adapt and respond effectively to threats from across the border.
