Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Friday chaired a high-level meeting with senior officials to review the ongoing developments and policy measures regarding the Maratha reservation issue. The meeting, held at Mantralaya, witnessed the presence of Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, highlighting the importance the state government is attaching to this sensitive matter.

The Maratha reservation issue has been at the forefront of Maharashtra’s socio-political discourse, with growing demands from community representatives for a permanent solution that ensures equitable opportunities in education and government jobs.
