Tejasvi Surya Accuses Karnataka Congress Govt of ‘Daily Factional Fights’ and Administrative Breakdown

Date:

Mumbai, Maharashtra: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Tejasvi Surya on Monday sharpened his attack on the Congress government in Karnataka, alleging that the state is grappling with internal rifts and administrative paralysis. Speaking to reporters, Surya claimed that ongoing tussles between Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar have led to deep divisions within the bureaucracy.

“The daily factional fight between the CM and the DCM has gone so far that just 15–20 days ago, I heard that officers from both camps, who are divided, were shaking hands in the Legislative Assembly. This is the situation of Karnataka under the Congress party,” Surya said.

He further alleged that governance in the state has deteriorated due to constant infighting within the ruling party. “Karnataka is suffering because of this bad governance,” he added.

The BJP has repeatedly accused the Congress-led government of failing to maintain administrative cohesion, while the Congress has dismissed such allegations as politically motivated. The remarks come amid an increasingly charged political atmosphere as both parties continue to trade barbs on governance, fiscal management, and law-and-order issues in the state.
