Eknath Shinde Pays Tribute to Syed Adil Hussain Shah, Announces Aid for Family

Mumbai: Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde paid heartfelt tribute to Syed Adil Hussain Shah, who was tragically killed in the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Describing Shah’s bravery, Shinde stated, “This is not a matter of caste or religion. Our tourists who had gone there were shot at. He saved them.”

According to Shinde, Shah displayed remarkable courage in trying to protect others during the attack. “He tried to snatch the terrorists’ gun so that the tourists would not be shot at, but another terrorist came and killed him,” he said. Shinde emphasized that Shah’s actions were heroic and selfless.

The Deputy CM also shared that he had spoken to Adil’s family, who are facing severe financial hardship. “He was the only earning member in his family. Their condition is not good,” Shinde noted. In recognition of his sacrifice, Shinde announced that Shiv Sena will provide financial aid of ₹5 lakh to the family.

Syed Adil Hussain Shah’s bravery has struck a chord across Maharashtra and the nation, with leaders and citizens alike mourning his loss and honoring his courage.
