Mumbai Police Files FIR Against Unknown Persons for Threatening Deputy Chief Minister

Mumbai, India – The Mumbai Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against unidentified individuals for using derogatory language and issuing death threats against Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister, Devendra Fadnavis.

The FIR was lodged under sections 153(A), 500, 505(3), 506(2), and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). These sections pertain to promoting enmity between different groups, defamation, statements conducing to public mischief, criminal intimidation, and acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention, respectively.

The Mumbai Police confirmed the registration of the FIR, stating that the unknown persons had used offensive language against the Deputy Chief Minister and had threatened to kill him. The identity of the individuals involved remains unknown at this time.

The police are currently investigating the matter and are working diligently to identify and apprehend the individuals responsible for these threats. The safety and security of public officials remain a top priority, and any threats made against them are taken very seriously.
