Family-Run Parties Under Fire in PM Modi’s Jammu and Kashmir Speech

Date:

J&K – In a recent public rally in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a strong stance against family-run political parties, accusing them of causing significant damage to the region.

The Prime Minister targeted the Congress, National Conference, PDP, and other parties, alleging that they are attempting to return Jammu and Kashmir to its previous state. “These family-run parties have done the most harm to Jammu and Kashmir,” he stated, emphasizing his point with a critique of their alleged nepotism. He further elaborated, “In this place, a political party signifies a family affair, run by the family and for the family.”

His comments were made in the context of the ongoing political unrest in the region and were seen as a direct criticism of the family-run parties, which he believes have obstructed Jammu and Kashmir’s growth and development.

The Prime Minister expressed his disapproval of the parties’ alleged efforts to revert Jammu and Kashmir to “those old days.” His remarks were met with cheers from his supporters at the rally.

This rally is part of the Prime Minister’s ongoing campaign to bolster his party’s influence in the region. The response from the parties targeted by his comments is eagerly awaited.
