Shiv Sena Leader Shaina NC Criticizes Uddhav Thackeray Over ‘Jai Shri Ram’ Stance

Date:

Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC has taken a sharp dig at Uddhav Thackeray, questioning his reluctance to chant “Jai Shri Ram” and accusing him of abandoning the ideology of his father, Balasaheb Thackeray.

“We have always been saying ‘Jai Bhawani, Jai Shivaji,’ but we should also say ‘Jai Shri Ram’ with pride. Why Uddhav Thackeray ji resists saying ‘Jai Shri Ram’ is known to all,” Shaina NC remarked.

She further alleged that Thackeray’s political stance has shifted towards appeasement politics, diverging from the Hindutva ideology championed by his father. “When you reject Balasaheb Thackeray’s ideology and adopt appeasement politics, and get inspired by Adolf Hitler…” she added, drawing a strong comparison.

Her remarks come amid escalating political tensions in Maharashtra, where the battle between different factions of the Shiv Sena continues. Uddhav Thackeray’s approach has often been contrasted with that of Balasaheb Thackeray, who was known for his staunch Hindutva stance.

With elections on the horizon, the divide within the Shiv Sena and the larger political landscape in Maharashtra remains a focal point of debate. Whether Thackeray will respond to these accusations remains to be seen, but Shaina NC’s statement underscores the growing friction within the state’s political circles.
