Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde Announces Rs 500 Crore Provision for Siddhivinayak Temple Redevelopment

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has unveiled plans for the redevelopment of the iconic Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai, announcing a significant provision of Rs 500 crore for the project. Speaking on the development, Shinde outlined the scope of the redevelopment, which will include cluster development around the temple as well as the refurbishment of nearby MHADA buildings.

“The planning has been done for the redevelopment of Siddhivinayak Temple. Today, Rs 500 crore provision has been announced,” Shinde said, highlighting the government’s commitment to improving the infrastructure around the temple, which attracts millions of devotees every year.

The redevelopment project aims to enhance the overall experience for visitors and address the growing demand for modern facilities and space around one of Mumbai’s most revered landmarks. The plans include creating a more organized and welcoming environment for devotees while also improving the infrastructure of the surrounding areas.
