Tahawwur Rana Extradition: BJP MP Jagdambika Pal Credits PM Modi’s Diplomacy, Says “Pakistan Will Be Exposed”

Date:

Following the extradition of Tahawwur Rana, one of the accused in the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, senior BJP MP Jagdambika Pal lauded the central government’s efforts and the diplomatic push led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for securing Rana’s return to India after 16 years.

“After 16 years, due to the efforts made by the central government and the diplomacy of PM Modi, the accused of the Mumbai terror attack has now been brought to India,” Pal said in a statement to the media. “He will not only be hanged, but as he is in the custody of the National Investigation Agency (NIA), many aspects of the conspiracy will now be exposed.”

Pal emphasized that Rana’s interrogation could unearth crucial details about the international terror network behind the 26/11 attacks and reaffirm India’s long-standing position on Pakistan’s role in fostering terrorism.

Pakistan will be exposed before the world,” Pal asserted. “As PM Modi always says, if there is an issue of terrorism around the world, Pakistan is the nursery, and it helps terrorism grow.”

Rana, a Pakistani-origin Canadian national, has long been sought by Indian authorities for his alleged role in supporting the terror operation planned by Lashkar-e-Taiba. His extradition is seen as a diplomatic and strategic breakthrough for India in its global campaign against cross-border terrorism.

The BJP has positioned Rana’s return as a testament to the Modi government’s commitment to delivering justice and holding terror conspirators accountable, both within India and on the international stage.
