PM Modi’s Rally in Palamu: A Beacon of Hope and Development

Date:

PALAMU, JHARKHAND – In a recent public rally held in Palamu, Jharkhand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a stand against the alleged neglect of the region by the Congress party and its supporters. He claimed that the party’s leaders in Delhi might not even be aware of Palamu’s existence on the map.

Palamu, a region with a significant population of Dalits and Adivasis, was referred to as ‘backward’ by the Congress, a term that the Prime Minister found unacceptable. He stated, “People of the so-called backward area also have hopes and expectations,” emphasizing the aspirations of the people living in these areas.

The Prime Minister also addressed the issue of officials viewing postings in such areas as a form of punishment. In a move to change this perception, he appointed one of the country’s top officers in Palamu, demonstrating his commitment to the development of the region.

One of the key highlights of the rally was the significant improvement in housing in the region. PM Modi pointed out that while only 14% of the population previously lived in pucca houses, today, nearly every family in Palamu has a pucca house. This is a testament to the government’s efforts to improve the living conditions of the residents.

The rally served as a platform for PM Modi to express his dedication to the upliftment of regions like Palamu and his commitment to improving the lives of its residents, particularly the Dalits and Adivasis. His words served as a beacon of hope for the future development of the region.
