Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make an official visit to Wayanad district in Kerala on Saturday, August 10, 2024, to assess the situation following the recent devastating landslides. The visit aims to strengthen the relief efforts and offer support to the affected communities.
Prime Minister Modi’s itinerary includes visits to several critical locations. He will stop by a relief camp to meet with those displaced by the disaster, visit a hospital to check on the treatment of the injured, and inspect the Bailey bridge constructed by the Indian Army. The Bailey bridge has been vital for ongoing rescue operations, providing crucial connectivity to areas cut off by the landslides.

The Prime Minister will arrive at Kannur airport via a special flight and will then proceed to Wayanad by Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopter.
