Mumbai: In a recent development, BJP leader Pravin Darekar commented on MNS chief Raj Thackeray’s meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, expressing optimism about the future of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Maharashtra.

Darekar highlighted the significance of new leaders joining the alliance, stating, “With leaders joining us, the stature of the (NDA) alliance will only rise.” He emphasized that the inclusion of influential figures would bolster the coalition’s position in the state.

The BJP leader also addressed the topic of seat-sharing, a critical aspect of pre-election arrangements within political alliances. Darekar assured that seat-sharing would be conducted properly, ensuring a fair and strategic distribution of constituencies among the alliance partners.

Looking ahead to the upcoming elections, Darekar expressed confidence in the BJP’s performance. “BJP will do well in the state,” he declared, suggesting that the party is well-positioned to make significant electoral gains.

The meeting between Thackeray and Shah has sparked discussions and speculations about the potential implications for Maharashtra’s political landscape. As the state gears up for elections, all eyes are on the NDA and its strategies to secure a victory.

The BJP’s positive outlook reflects a broader strategy to consolidate power and expand its influence in one of India’s most politically significant states. With the alliance’s dynamics evolving, the political scene in Maharashtra is set to witness intense competition and collaboration in the run-up to the polls.
