PM Modi’s Rally in Meerut Marks the Beginning of Lok Sabha Election 2024 Campaign

Meerut, Uttar Pradesh – Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Bharatiya Janata Party’s campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The rally was held on Sunday, marking the beginning of a series of campaigns for the world’s largest democratic exercise.

PM Modi, who had initiated his election campaigns for the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Meerut, once again chose the city to start his campaign, highlighting its symbolic significance in his political journey. The rally was highly anticipated, with political alliances converging in the heart of Uttar Pradesh ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.

During the rally, PM Modi advocated for a ‘Viksit Bharat’, resonating with the aspirations of the people of India. As per reports, BJP candidate Arun Govil, known for his role in the TV serial ‘Ramayan’, and Rashtriya Lok Dal president Jayant Chaudhary, who recently joined the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance, were expected to be present with the PM.

The General Elections are set to be held in seven phases between April 19 and June 1. Various political parties have released the list of their candidates who are seeking to get elected. Several candidates have also filed their nominations, and political campaigns have been started to woo the voters.
