PM Modi’s Address in Sabarkantha: A Firm Stance Against Terrorism and Vote Bank Politics

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a recent public rally in Himatnagar, Sabarkantha, made a strong statement against terrorism and vote bank politics. He criticized the previous government’s approach towards terrorism and highlighted the steps taken by his government to ensure the security of Muslim women.

PM Modi stated, “When the terrorists were coming to India and doing attacks, the weak government at that time used to send dossiers… Today’s New India does not send dossiers, it gives dose to terrorists.” This statement underlines his government’s proactive stance against terrorism.

He also addressed the controversial issue of Triple Talaq. “Our Muslim sisters were the biggest victims of vote bank politics,” he said, accusing the Congress of failing to provide security to Muslim women despite the Supreme Court’s verdict. He emphasized that the abolition of Triple Talaq has provided security to families, not just the women.

“They (Congress) did not stop the practice of Triple Talaq for the vote bank,” PM Modi said, accusing the Congress of prioritizing vote bank politics over the welfare of Muslim women. He added, “I did not worry about vote bank. I don’t work for winning the elections. I wanted to make the lives of Muslim women easier and we made Triple Talaq illegal.”

PM Modi also took a jibe at the Congress, saying, “The Shehzada of Congress gets a fever when I do all of this.” He responded to the criticism that his third term as PM would cause unrest in the country, saying, “He is saying that if Modi becomes PM for the third time, there would be fire in the country. The fact is, the dreams of the Congress have burnt and turned to ashes.”

This rally highlights PM Modi’s strong stand against terrorism and his commitment to the welfare of Muslim women. It also sets the tone for the upcoming elections, with PM Modi making it clear that his focus is on the welfare of the people, not on winning elections.
