India on the Path to Progress: PM Modi Highlights Role of Constitution

Date:

In a recent speech in Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the central role of the Indian Constitution in guiding India’s journey towards comprehensive development. As India is on the brink of celebrating the 70th anniversary of its Constitution, PM Modi’s focus on its importance echoes with the aspirations of a nation marching towards progress.

“Our Constitution is our guiding light,” PM Modi affirmed, highlighting the Constitution’s role in shaping India’s democratic ethos and steering its socio-economic course. The Constitution, adopted on 26th November 1949, enshrines the principles of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, and has been the foundation of India’s democratic governance.

On the milestone of the 70th year of the Constitution, PM Modi underscored the collective responsibility towards the vision of a ‘viksit’ or developed Bharat. “We will work with all states and work hard towards becoming ‘viksit Bharat’,” he pledged.

The notion of a ‘viksit Bharat’ extends beyond economic prosperity. It embodies a comprehensive development model that includes social justice, environmental sustainability, educational empowerment, and technological innovation. It envisions an inclusive society where every citizen has the opportunity to prosper.

As we approach the 70th anniversary of our Constitution, PM Modi’s words serve as a guiding beacon for the journey ahead. The path to a ‘viksit Bharat’ is a shared endeavor, requiring the collective efforts of all states and every citizen.

In the spirit of the Constitution, let us all work towards this vision of a developed, inclusive, and prosperous Bharat. As we chart our course for the future, let the guiding principles of our Constitution lead us towards a ‘viksit Bharat’ that is a testament to our collective aspirations and efforts.
