Date:

Mumbai, India: Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde met with the families of the victims who tragically lost their lives in the infamous Pune Porsche car crash last month. During the meeting, he assured the grieving families that despite the High Court granting bail to the accused, the government remains committed to ensuring justice in this matter.

The incident occurred on May 19 when two software engineers, Aneesh Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta, were killed in a horrific road accident. The tragedy unfolded after a 17-year-old boy, allegedly driving a Porsche car at high speed while intoxicated, crashed into their bike.

The meeting took place at the Chief Minister’s Varsha residence, where Shinde expressed his heartfelt condolences. He emphasized that the sudden loss of the young lives deeply affected everyone, and the government stands firmly with the victims’ families.

As a special consideration, Chief Minister Shinde announced that each family would receive Rs 10 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. This financial aid aims to provide some relief during this difficult time.

Meanwhile, the legal proceedings continue, and the case will be expedited in a fast-track court to ensure timely justice for the victims.
