Mumbai: Maharashtra Minister Nitesh Rane Comments on Disha Salian Death Case, Emphasizes Need for Court’s Decision

Date:

Maharashtra Minister Nitesh Rane has weighed in on the ongoing Disha Salian death case, stating that her father’s demand for justice should be taken seriously. Rane highlighted that Disha Salian’s father had approached the court with serious allegations and that these claims were not merely political statements.

“Disha Salian’s father wants justice, and he went to the Court for this. Whatever I say or any other leader says is different because our statements are taken as political views,” Rane said. He emphasized that Disha’s father had specifically named Aaditya Thackeray, Dino Morea, and Suraj Pancholi in his pursuit of justice, claiming that they were involved in his daughter’s death. According to Rane, these allegations were made officially in court, not just in press conferences or before the Chief Minister, and therefore, hold significant weight.

“Her father said that my daughter was murdered and Aaditya Thackeray, Dino Morea, and Suraj Pancholi were involved in this. This is not a political allegation. He neither said this in a press conference nor in front of the Chief Minister, he went to the Court and said this officially. Now, the Court has to decide what is to be done,” Rane added.

The comments come as the case continues to attract public attention, with various leaders offering differing views. Rane’s remarks underscore the seriousness of the matter, urging the court to address the allegations and deliver justice based on the legal process.

As the case unfolds, the involvement of high-profile individuals has led to considerable media and public scrutiny. The court’s eventual decision will likely shape the next steps in the investigation and the broader political discourse surrounding the case.
