Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis Reviews Security Amid India-Pakistan Tensions

Mumbai: Amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan following #OperationSindoor, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis affirmed that all security agencies in the state are on high alert. “All the security forces—be it police, coast guard, or navy—are on alert mode. Regular exercises are being conducted, and SOPs are in place,” he stated.

He further added, “We have acted in full accordance with the War Book. A meeting has been called to review internal security and ensure readiness for any eventuality.”

Fadnavis emphasized the importance of coordination between central and state agencies and reiterated the state’s commitment to maintaining public safety in view of the current geopolitical scenario.
