Gau-Tech 2026 Exhibition in Pune to Boost Cow-Based Economy and Rural Industries

Pune, March 20, 2026: The Maharashtra Goseva Commission, in collaboration with the Global Confederation of Cow-Based Industries (GCCBI) and several service-oriented organisations, is set to organise a grand exhibition titled ‘Gau-Tech 2026’ from March 20 to 23 at the Agriculture College in Pune.

Citizens have been encouraged to participate in large numbers and explore the diverse innovations on display.


Focus on Cow-Based Agriculture and Rural Economy

The primary objective of the exhibition is to:

  • Promote cow-based agriculture practices
  • Strengthen the rural economy
  • Support village industries and entrepreneurship
  • Expand market opportunities for cow-based products

The initiative is also aligned with the broader vision of building a “Developed India 2047.”


Showcase of Innovation and Business Opportunities

According to Divisional Additional Commissioner Tushar Thombre, the exhibition will highlight:

  • New technologies in cow-based farming
  • Innovative products derived from cow resources
  • Business and startup opportunities in the rural sector

The event aims to create awareness about sustainable practices while encouraging farmers, entrepreneurs, and startups to adopt eco-friendly and economically viable solutions.
