Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis Marks World Environment Day with Tree Plantation at Official Residence

Mumbai — On the occasion of World Environment Day, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis planted a sapling at his official residence, Varsha, in Mumbai, underscoring the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable living.

The symbolic act aimed to encourage citizens to take active steps toward protecting the environment. “Small steps like planting trees can lead to a big impact for our future generations,” said the Chief Minister.

Fadnavis also reiterated the state government’s commitment to expanding green cover and supporting eco-friendly initiatives across Maharashtra.
